Dr Cahill is very empathetic and supportive. She has supported me for around 8 years as my GP, and was the first person I came out to besides my queer brother. She is not queer, but is very politically engaged and works as a writer and editor along with being a GP. She advocates for you if required, for example to other mental health professionals. She is Christian Indian by background, and works a lot with her writing in post-colonial and racial issues, so definitely would be a highly supportive GP to people of colour. I have little to say of the other doctors at the practice, who I don't think are necessarily very queer friendly, and have only seen infrequently for consultation if Dr Cahill was away.
